OTAA’s Azerbaijan Paisley Pre-tied Bowtie is inspired by antiquity. In the 6th century BC, Azerbaijan was ruled by Cyrus the Great; the king of the Persian empire. Paisley designs originated in the empire and were used as a means of decorating the gowns and court garments of nobility. The floral motif originated in the Sassanid dynasty and was used by emperors to communicate their strength. Inspired by Azerbaijan’s rich heritage, we give you the Azerbaijan Paisley Bow Tie.
